Pair of early 19th Century mahogany library tables

A pair of early 19th Century mahogany library / writing tables of exhibition quality, the tops having a black leather writing surface decorated with gilt and blind tooling, with pull out writing slides either end also with a black leather in the same design as the top, the top having a double edge with finely carved detail in the centre, three oak lined drawers below with original brass handles and escutcheons, the drawer fronts having carved bead decoration, carved corner brackets of floral design, the back of the tables having faux drawers and in the same manor as the front, supported on superb quality turned and reeded legs terminating on brass cap and castors. These tables are of exceptional quality and have a lovely warm mahogany colour. Circa 1830.
