A very rare early 20th Century Chinese hongmu folding officials chair from the late Qing dynasty, having a traditional Chinese shaped top rail, carved fret decoration either side of the central splat back with carved portrait panels, a well fitted mesh seat in excellent condition raised upon a cross stretcher base. Circa 1910.
