19th Century Burmese carved hardwood centre table, the top having a wonderfully carved frieze depicting temples, birds, animals, tree’s and various foliage, as if telling an ancient story, below the top is a profusely carved apron, supported on a carved column terminating on three legs carved as mythical creatures. The carving on the whole table is very well executed and is of a very high quality. Circa 1870.
