Set of 19th Century mahogany library steps / step commode, the three steps having a green leather with blind and gold tooling, the top step having a turned gallery and the front panel lifts down to reveal a compartment, the middle section pulls out and also has a hinged lift up lid to reveal a larger compartment which is ideal for storage, the steps decorated with a nice reeded edge and supported on turned feet. Circa 1850
