Early 19th Century Anglo-Indian campaign chest

Early 19th Century Anglo-Indian camphor wood military campaign chest, having original brass recessed handles and ebony inlay, having a wonderfully figured top, along with the drawer fronts, above a pull out secretaire drawer which reveals a lovely fitted interior with various drawers and compartments, a green leather writing surface decorated with blind and gold tooling, below the secretaire drawer are two short over two long drawers, brass carrying handles at the sides, standing on bun feet. This chest splits into two parts for easy transportation. Circa 1830.
