Early 19th Century pollard oak bookcase

A fabulous early 19th Century pollard oak and walnut breakfront bookcase in the Gothic revival style, the stepped moulded cornice above four large glazed doors with Gothic arched frames with carved leaf decoration in the corners, the doors opening to reveal various adjustable shelves inside, the base below having four cupboards doors also with Gothic tracery and stylised Gothic carving in the corners, the pollard oak panels are a lovely feature as they add wonderful character to the bookcase, supported on a moulded edge plinth base. Superb colour and in excellent condition. Circa 1840.
