A superb pair of 19th Century Anglo-Indian carved hardwood chairs, profusely carved all over with carved fret decoration incorporating various birds and foliage, mythical figure heads on the arms and top of the legs, the bottom section having a nice carved shaped apron along the sides and front, standing on four carved legs, with a drop in cushioned seat. Circa 1880.
